Alphonse Mucha is a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, best known for his distinct style and his images of women. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, and designs. Alphonse Mucha because he is my favourite artist from the ‘Art Nouveau’ movement. His posters are beautiful to look at because they are colourful and eye catching. His work would often show female figures with long flowing hair, the posters also contained decorative elements expressing rhythm and freedom. In my view I think his work represented something growing, like new life or stages of somebody’s life. His work has always influenced me because of his working process. His work looks like it’s not aged it looks as good then as it does today.
