There are some illustrations by French artist and illustrator Gustave Dore. He was born on January 6, 1832 and died on January 23, 1883 He’s mostly known for his books illustrations for ‘Paradise Lost’ and ‘Dante's Inferno’. The media he uses to create his beautiful are wood engraving and steel engraving. His work is so amazing to look because you get caught up at looking the mark making. His work captures the essence of the story like the danger of the wolf in 'Little Red Riding Hood'. His work can feature dark themes but some of his work can playful and thoughtful.
