Bloody Chamber Illustrations

These are my finished illustrations for the book ‘The Bloody Chamber’. The media behind these images is anything is hand drawn then I use Photoshop to colour them in. I am really pleased with the way these have turned out, because they focus on the main elements of the stories. I wanted to make these images symbolic rather than scenes. Adding the colour to the drawing makes them look realistic, which something I wanted to achieve for these illustrations. All of the images look like a set rather than separate stand alone images. I also like the fact each illustration has a different colour scheme making them stand out.
