Contact with commissioning clients

Over the Easter break I emailed a couple of Art Directors. Asking if they would look at some examples from my portfolio. Here are some of their replies.

If you have any work you want to send, just email it and I'd be glad to have a look and give some feedback. Meanwhile, if you would like an idea of the type of books we publish, have a look at our website, www.severnhouse.com.

The best advice I could give is to show your work at a many agencies, design consultancies and publishing houses as possible. E-mails are a good way of communicating, but most people in my position get so many e-mails; we remember faces more.
