These are some illustrations by Vania Zouravliov. He was born in Russia and is influenced by a number of different sources like early Disney animation and The Bible. By the age of 13 he was showing and exhibiting his work in a number of different countries like Berlin and Paris. He lives and works in the UK. He has produced illustrations for clients such Dark House Comics and National Geographic. His work features dark but beautifully illustrated themes. They are full detail making look deeper into the image, to see what’s going on in the picture. What I love most about his work is even though they are really detailed they feature flat large spaces that allow the image to breathe.
