These are some examples of Jon Fox’s work. He did a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting, at the University of Brighton in 2001 to 2004. While at university he was already accepting commissions. After university he exhibited work in several groups shows across the UK. He lives and works in Bournemouth UK. Jon Fox’s work is very striking and eye-catching. The media he uses are oil paints and pen and ink. Looking at these images you wouldn’t think that these were made with those materials. They look they were done using Photoshop or Illustrator. I think that’s the main reason I like his work so much. His work reminds me of the Japanese Manga animations, because of the themes he uses. The images might be a bit too pack with information for certain people, but I like that with these because you spend longer looking at the image. Every time you look at the image you discover something new.
